Moving BSC tokens between your own wallets before a swap

When you move BSC tokens between two ordinary wallets you control, each account has its own gas budget. The sending account pays for the transfer it submits. The receiving account needs its own funding when it later initiates a swap or another transfer.

The token and native balances are separate: BEP-20 defines contract-based token transfers, while BSC uses BNB for network fees. Receiving a BEP-20 transfer does not automatically receive an extra native BNB balance with it.

A two-account example

Suppose account A holds USDT and native BNB, while account B will execute the intended swap. Sending USDT from A to B moves only the specified token balance. B can then display the USDT but still lack BNB for its own ordinary transaction.

A separate BNB funding transfer can supply B's fee balance. That transfer also costs A gas, so A needs enough native BNB for both its outgoing value and its own transaction fee. These are separate amounts even when the wallet presents them together.

Move balances, not assumptions

• Confirm that both addresses refer to the intended accounts on BSC.
• Decide which account should hold the final swap output.
• Estimate the sending steps from A and the execution steps from B separately.
• Quote the swap from B after its actual received balances are available.

Token allowances also belong to an owner and spender relationship. Moving tokens to B does not transfer A's approval to B. The receiving account may therefore need its own approval step before trading, depending on the execution path.

This planning distinction matters when consolidating balances from several accounts. Adding their portfolio values together does not create a single spendable balance or shared gas reserve. If sponsorship is offered, verify which account and which individual actions it covers.
