1inch Wallet versus the 1inch web app

You do not need to move your keys into 1inch Wallet merely to trade through 1inch. The project’s getting-started guide accepts 1inch Wallet or other supported wallets. The mobile wallet is an integrated way to manage assets and initiate trades, while the web application can connect to an existing compatible wallet.

The current iOS and Android swap guide shows source and destination token/network selection, followed by slippage, minimum receivable amount and network-fee review. These fields define the trade more precisely than the wallet’s name.

Mobile details that matter

If a confirmation remains open too long, the app asks to refresh an outdated rate. Refreshing can change the quote; compare the new receive conditions before confirming rather than assuming the original amount still applies.

The guide also asks users to keep the application open until the swap is assigned a status. Treat that as part of the mobile workflow. After an interruption, find the existing status before creating another order. A missing screen is not proof that no instruction was submitted.

Saved swap templates offer convenience for repeating settings. They should be treated as prefilled instructions, not promises of the same price, route availability or fee. The next quote still requires review.

Choose the wallet separately from the execution mode

Using the 1inch wallet does not eliminate the distinction between same-chain and cross-chain execution or between a transaction and an intent. Verify the mode offered for the selected assets and chain; do not infer feature parity solely from a desktop article.

For a user already holding BNB-chain assets in another compatible wallet, the relevant question is whether the mobile integration improves the complete workflow enough to justify changing software. A wallet migration is unnecessary for a simple quote comparison: the brand alone is not a reason to alter custody setup.
