A commercial DEX API shortlist should begin with the product and workload you need to buy. A retail swap interface, a protocol deployment and a hosted API subscription are different offerings. Chain support alone does not establish that an API plan fits an application.

Specify demand in requests and completed trades
Quote refreshes can greatly outnumber completed trades. Describe both, along with peak concurrency, chains, account types and any price-display use that does not lead to execution. The 0x pricing page explicitly treats sustained quote-only use as something to discuss separately.
Estimate transaction fees using the fee-bearing volume, not API call count. Also identify who pays: the application’s invoice, a user’s trade output or a sponsor account. Surplus sharing and integrator fees require their own treatment.
Buy the operational relationship too
Agree on incident escalation, service commitments, key ownership, plan changes and exit responsibilities. A larger plan does not automatically improve the user’s quote, while a free integration does not mean its underlying execution is costless.
Odos is excluded from this active shortlist because its official hosted-service shutdown supersedes still-indexed historical plan documents. Use a current, supportable offering before spending time on a detailed procurement comparison.
