Velora Market versus Delta: transaction or signed intent?

Compare Velora Market and Delta by transaction control, signed intent, chain coverage and approval target.

Velora Market and Delta are different execution products. Market returns a transaction for the user to submit; Delta uses a signed order filled through solver competition. The right selection depends on the intended workflow and chain.

The Market overview emphasizes atomic on-chain execution and composability. The Delta overview describes intent settlement, with a special deposit path for native assets. “Gasless” should therefore not be read as one identical authorization sequence for every sell token.

Coverage differs between modes

The current matrix, checked September 24, 2026, shows BNB Chain under both modes. It lists Gnosis and Avalanche with Market support but no Delta deployment in that table. A generic Velora chain list would miss this distinction.

The spender changes with the product

The same reference identifies Augustus for Market and the Delta contract for Delta orders. A prior approval to one is not evidence of approval to the other. Confirm the mode and official deployment before signing a new authorization.

A product-level decision

Market fits a workflow that needs to compose the swap inside a broader transaction or retain direct submission control. Delta fits an order-based flow where a solver executes the acceptable result. These are functional distinctions; they do not establish a permanent price advantage.

Compare the final quote conditions, partner fee treatment and user actions. If an application offers an automatic mode, it should still reveal what the user is authorizing. An interface that hides a changed execution path makes troubleshooting and permission review harder.

Retain the order identifier for Delta and the relevant transaction identifier for Market. Those records correspond to different stages of completion and should not be substituted blindly.
