OKX DEX fees: what the current quote must show

OKX DEX currently publishes interface fees; a blanket claim that every trade has zero platform cost is incorrect. Use its dedicated fee schedule, checked September 24, 2026, rather than a generic free-to-use sentence elsewhere in its help center.

Published fee matrix

Group membership changes, so the matrix alone is insufficient without identifying each asset's current classification. The fee is not always deducted from the same side of the trade.

The recent stock-token change

The September 7 announcement brought X Layer stock-token trades under the standard Group 2 treatment. Old promotional screenshots of a fee waiver are therefore not reliable evidence for a current quote.

How to use the numbers

A hypothetical $1,000 amount subject to a 0.50% interface charge implies $5 of that charge before considering its actual collection token. That arithmetic does not describe the total cost of the swap. Pool execution and network costs can remain, and the displayed output may already account for the interface fee.

Inspect the fee label and collection asset before confirmation. Check applicable exceptions or discounts in the current product rather than assuming a historical promotion applies. Keep API commercial fees separate: a developer's agreement and a retail interface schedule answer different purchasing questions.
