1inch infrastructure fees: why API access is not the whole cost

1inch's swap infrastructure fee is a transaction-level provider charge. Its current documentation says the charge is deducted from the destination amount and is separate from the API subscription.

The page also describes different possible ranges across retail channels. Consequently, an API tier's number should not be presented as the exact fee for every trade made through every 1inch-branded screen.

Why it matters to app economics

Two plans can differ in both access capacity and the economics of user transactions. A cheaper subscription can therefore be the wrong comparison if the application expects substantial routed volume. Estimate request traffic and completed trading volume separately.

When inspecting a quote, determine whether the displayed received amount already accounts for this charge. Subtracting it again would understate the result. Network fees and an app's own monetization may still require separate treatment.

What to confirm before launch

Ask which category applies to the pairs your product serves, how the fee appears in the quote and settlement records, and whether your agreement changes the published schedule. Keep the date with any fee screenshot.

The separate x402 payment path has its own documented launch terms. A temporary waiver there is not a reason to erase the infrastructure-fee line from an unrelated subscription comparison.
