Choose an aggregator

Uniswap interface, router and protocol are different comparison targets

Uniswap Labs currently lists no interface fee, but liquidity-pool fees and execution costs remain separate. Identify what an aggregator comparison measures.

Uniswap can mean liquidity-pool contracts, the Uniswap Labs web interface, or its wallet. Those are different comparison objects. An aggregator can use Uniswap liquidity while the trader never opens a Uniswap Labs interface.

The current Labs fee page says interface fees ended December 27,2025 and lists 0% for its interface and wallet. Checked September 24, 2026, that is the relevant current statement; older descriptions of a positive Labs interface fee should not be carried forward unchanged.

What zero interface fee leaves out

Pool economics still exist. The fee-tier reference lists v3 tiers of 1%,0.3%,0.05% and 0.01%, while v2 has a 0.3% tier. These numbers describe pool fees, not a universal extra charge applied to every interface quote. Governance-controlled protocol fees are another distinct concept.

A route can involve multiple pools or a different execution mechanism. Consequently, adding a single pool percentage to a displayed net output can double-count a cost already incorporated in the quote. Use the actual route and quote rather than constructing the result from a remembered fee.

Read the comparison screen

Uniswap’s screen guide identifies separate fields for fees, network cost, routing, price impact and maximum slippage; the slippage details expose minimum output. These are the useful comparison inputs.

If an aggregator and Uniswap both source a pool, that shared liquidity does not require identical output. They can differ in route, split, execution settings and other included sources. Conversely, finding Uniswap in an aggregator route is not evidence of an undisclosed Labs interface fee.

Compare the same token contracts and network, then compare the complete execution offers. The brand alone cannot tell you which fee layer applies or which quote is preferable.
