A successful BSC swap does not guarantee that an exchange will credit its output. The receiving service must support that asset on BSC, including the correct token contract and any current deposit conditions. Check the destination before deciding what to buy.
Binance's deposit guidance separates supported token, network status, token contract and assigned deposit address. This is a useful example of why the exchange's asset ticker alone is insufficient: a service can list an asset while accepting only selected network representations.
Plan from the deposit page backward
Open the destination account's current deposit instructions. Identify the asset, available network, minimum credited amount and required confirmations. Then compare those requirements with the swap's proposed output. If the output is WBNB, a staking receipt or a pegged representation, do not assume it is accepted wherever a related base asset is listed.
For example, a hypothetical destination supporting BTC on Bitcoin is not thereby declaring support for BTCB on BSC. A conversion between those endpoints requires a supported additional route; an ordinary wallet transfer does not perform it.
Separate receipt from credit
The blockchain records a transfer to an address. The service applies its deposit policy and assigns credit to a customer account. These are distinct events. Even a finalized transfer can wait for the service's processing or fail to qualify under its supported-asset rules.
Use the deposit address provided for your account, not an address copied from a previous exchange withdrawal. Supply a memo or tag only when the destination's actual instructions require it; do not import requirements from historical Beacon Chain examples into an ordinary BSC token transfer.
The same principle applies to DeFi applications: receiving a token in a wallet does not establish that a lending market accepts it as collateral. Check the downstream application's exact supported asset and network before trading into a balance intended for that purpose.
Keep enough native BNB to make the final transfer, unless that specific action has a supported alternative fee arrangement.
