What a partial fill means on 1inch Fusion

A partial Fusion fill means some of the sell amount has executed while a remainder may still be available under the order's rules. It does not mean that every token in the original order has already changed hands.

1inch's Fusion documentation explains that orders can allow partial and multiple fills, with executed amounts deducted from the remaining amount. The protocol-level ability to configure this should not be mistaken for a promise that every consumer interface exposes the same switches.

Read the remainder before replacing the trade

Consider a hypothetical order to sell 100 tokens. A record showing 40 sold leaves a possible 60-token remainder; it does not justify submitting a fresh 100-token order automatically. First check whether the original instruction is still valid, whether another fill is pending and whether its deadline has passed.

Track three quantities separately: original amount, amount already executed and amount still executable. A percentage-complete label is useful only when you know which original amount it refers to. Wallet balance alone can be confusing if you also transferred tokens or placed another order.

What to save

• The order identifier and network.
• Each fill's transaction identifier and actual token amounts.
• The displayed remaining amount and order status.
• Any cancellation or expiry evidence relevant to the remainder.

This record makes reconciliation possible without assuming that one order produces one transaction. It also helps support distinguish incomplete execution from a display that has not refreshed.

Does partial execution suit the objective?

If you need a single all-or-nothing economic action, partial filling may be an unsuitable workflow. Check the product's currently exposed options before signing. If the interface does not let you express the condition you require, choose a supported alternative instead of relying on an assumed default.
